Dodging the Anchor

I noticed that since I've been playing "Heroes" that I have neglected to review the last 2 movies that we watched, Anchorman and Dodgeball.

Anchorman is a huge waste of time...I figured it could either be like Elf, a waste but funny, or like Night at the Roxbury - a complete waste of brain function. Unfortunately it was worse than Roxbury - avoid this movie. Rating .5 stars out of 5.

Dodgeball on the other hand was quite amusing. I'll admit there was little plot and no character depth, but it was supposed to be a stupid movie and it is one of Stiller's better movies. I particularly liked Justin Long. I liked him in Ed, he plays a gauky kid quite well. His writhing on the floor after getting hit with the wrench had me almost falling off the couch with laughter.

Rating 4 out of 5 stars.
