The Open Road
Shoulda wrote yesterday when the memory was fresh, but I haven't been into blogging lately.
Yesterday, Kevin and I took his bike outside and he rode up (in roll mode) and down the sidewalk. We had a blast, saw some neighbors and got some fresh air. Teri came out from time to time (she was fixing dinner) to push or watch.
After riding for a while, I let him ride down the driveway while I ran in backwards front of him. Riding down the driveway he was able to go faster and was in control himself (what little he could figure out). It was some of the biggest smiles I can remember.
