Good Night Prayers
Each night as Kevin goes to bed, to help him decide what to pray about, we ask him a couple of standard questions, then he prays. We ask, what are you most thankful for (or what was your favorite part of the day); and who would you like to pray for?
Tonight, he answered those and I thought that might be the sum total of the prayer, but instead he started, "Dear God, Help Alex not to cry when I bonk him..."
It was all I could do not to laugh.
